For Raiders, knocking off Kansas City would be cold comfort

KANSAS CITY — If anything can cool off the Raiders, it just might be the weather. It’s supposed to be 20 degrees Thursday night, with a wind chill that’s on you faster than Khalil Mack on a quarterback.

Oakland has won six games in a row, but that will mean a lot less if it doesn’t win here, in the biggest game of its storied rivalry with Kansas City since 2002. The Raiders are 10-2 and in first place in the AFC West, but the Chiefs (9-3) are not only just a game behind, but with a win would complete a season sweep and thereby own the tiebreaker against the Raiders.
