Derek Carr was doing great until he ran into the Chiefs (again)

This one won’t be going on Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr’s highlight reel.

Carr, ESPN's current pick for NFL MVP, had the worst game of the career in Thursday's loss to the Chiefs. He finished with a career-low 9.7 Total QBR.

Carr threw for 117 yards, the second-fewest by a quarterback with at least 40 pass attempts in a game. The “record” of 110 was set by Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer against the Panthers in 2003. Palmer never played in the NFL again.

Carr completed 41.5 percent of his passes, the second-lowest completion percentage of his career.
