Earlier this week it was reported that 2014 Oakland Raiders defensive lineman Antonio Smith was under investigation for a child abuse case in Texas, something that his new team in the Denver Broncos were made aware of after TMZ published the report that the veteran NFL talent had drawn the attention of the law in a serious case. Now that investigation is even more serious and concerning as the child abuse claims against Smith have ramped up according to the most recent report this weekend.
TMZ broke the story before it was confirmed by the Broncos in a press release that Smith is under investigation for something that is being reported as “sexual in nature” and involving a relative of the Denver free agent signing.
