As you can see in Chase Williams tweet, he stated “RIPPAPA.”
This made me curious as to what he meant. I figured there was probably a family related story to go along with his excitement for the Irish offer. I spoke with Williams and asked him about his tweet. Here’s what he told me.
“My grandpa had passed away two years ago and so that was his favorite school. It was a sentimental offer for me and my family because I know he was watching over me and how proud he would be of me.”
When I watched his film, I couldn’t help but notice that Chase is also a very productive and impressive defensive back for his high school program.
