On Wednesday USA Today released the list of salaries of all Division I college football caoches. As you can imagine names like Jim Harbaugh, Nick Saban, and Urban Meyer were at the top of the list. Harbaugh tops the list making $9 million. Saban is second making a little under $7 million and Meyer comes in at third earning $6 million a year. All three are successful coaches at traditional powers, so it’s no surprise they’re up there. One coaches place on the list that might surprise you is Brian Kelly.
I will preface this by saying that the list doesn’t specify Kelly’s bonuses or endorsements, so he may very well be higher on the list, but for the sake of conversation we’ll adhere to the list as is.
