Four-star tight end Cole Kmet (Arlington Heights, IL) is ranked as one of the top prospects in the class of 2017, and has a high level of interest in joining the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The 6-5, 230-pounder has a top three of Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Northwestern, according to 247sports, though most believe his decision will come down to either the Irish or Buckeyes.
Kmet is ranked the No. 204 overall player in the country, No. 4 tight end in the nation, and No. 5 prospect in Illinois from the class of 2017.
