Per Matt Fortuna of ESPN.com, Golson is expected to see playing time as well, but the onus will be on Zaire to get the proverbial ball rolling in Nashville.

The left-handed Zaire relieved Golson during Notre Dame's 49-14 loss to USC in the regular-season finale. He completed 9 of 20 passes for 170 yards in that contest, and showed his mobility with 18 rushing yards and a touchdown on six carries.

The Irish sprinted to a 6-0 start and vaulted as high as #5 in the Associated Press poll this season before dropping five of their last six contests, including their final four games. Golson's turnover problems have been a noted problem for the team during its fall from the top of the college football world, with Golson having committed 22 giveaways (14 interceptions, 8 fumbles lost) in the team's last nine games.
