Notre Dame Football Recruiting: Friday Rumors Roundup

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish ended their season with a bowl win over LSU, and look to reload for 2015 and beyond on the recruiting trail. Who’s on their way to South Bend? Who’s still deciding? All this and more in our recruiting roundup:

NOTRE DAME OFFERS THREE-STAR DB

Notre Dame offered a scholarship to three-star defensive back Chris Williamson on Friday, which was special to the 6'1", 190-pounder from Gainesville, GA.

"The Notre Dame name carries a lot of weight with my family," Williamson said, which could differentiate the Irish from the other 18 offers he has on the table.

Williamson plans to make a commitment on February 4, which is National Signing Day.

NATHAN MEADORS MOVES VISIT

Three-star safety Nathan Meadors (San Bernardino, CA) was planning to take an official visit to Notre Dame on Jan. 23, but he's moved his visit up to Jan. 16.

The 6-1, 192-pounder  has the Riverside County vs. San Bernardino All-Star Game to play in Jan. 23, and then he takes an official visit to UCLA on Jan. 30.

Meadors says he also plans to announce his decision on National Signing Day.
