3 Reasons Why Notre Dame Will DOMINATE Ohio State In The Fiesta Bowl

The Fiesta Bowl matchup between the 11-1 Ohio State Buckeyes and 10-2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish is one of the best non-College Football Playoff bowl games this season. It features two storied programs with great head coaches in Brian Kelly and Urban Meyer. Both teams narrowly missed out on a berth in the playoff. Only one team is going to come out on top, and it's not the favored Buckeyes. With that in mind, here are 3 Reasons Why Notre Dame Will DOMINATE Ohio State In The Fiesta Bowl:

3. Notre Dame's OL
The Buckeyes have two talented defensive ends, but they won't be a factor in this game. Adolphus Washington is suspended for solicitation. Joey Bosa is talented, but Ronnie Stanley will shut him down. It's a matchup between one of the best DEs and one of the best OTs in college football. Both will be high NFL draft picks, but Stanley will win this matchup.

2. The Irish Want It More
It was a Championship or bust this season for Ohio State. The Buckeyes came up short, although they did close the regular season with an impressive win over Michigan. But it wouldn't be surprising to see the Buckeyes come out a bit flat compared to Notre Dame. The season hasn't reached expectations for Ohio State and they haven't played to their talent level far too often this season. That will be the case again in the Fiesta Bowl. Notre Dame is going to come out fired up and motivated and that will give them a big boost en route to a win.

1. Ohio State Is Overrated
The Buckeyes were riding high off their national title last season, but they have done nothing to prove they are a great team. Sure, they beat Michigan, but who else did they beat? Penn State and Virginia Tech aren't exactly great wins. They lost to Michigan State, and the Spartans were using their backup QB the whole time. The Buckeyes aren't as good as everyone thinks and Notre Dame will prove that in a dominating win.
