3 Notre Dame 2016 Recruits Who Will Become Stars In Their Freshman Season

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have plenty of veteran playmakers returning on both sides of the ball, but they also have an influx of young true-freshman talent that could make a major impact this coming season. Here are 3 Notre Dame recruits who will become stars next season:

3) LB Daelin Hayes
Notre Dame needs someone to step in for Jaylon Smith, who departed for the NFL, and Hayes is a prime candidate to be that guy. At 6'3" and 240 pounds, he has the strength and size to stop the run, but is also fast enough to be good in coverage. Look for him to have a big impact from day one.

2) WR Javon McKinley
McKinley isn't going to step right in and be Notre Dame's top target, but he will help fill the void left by Will Fuller. He isn't the biggest guy at 6'1" and 195 pounds, but he has the speed to be a threat to score every time he touches the ball.

1) OT Tommy Kraemer
Kraemer was the prize of Notre Dame's recruiting class, and he has all the makings of a great left tackle that will anchor the Irish's offensive line for the next three years.
