Leeds midfielder Pablo Hernandez could return to the squad for the EFL Cup fourth-round tie against Norwich.
Boss Garry Monk is expected to make several changes and right-back Gaetano Berardi hopes to feature for the first time since August.
Norwich boss Alex Neil will also rotate his squad, so goalkeeper John Ruddy, centre-half Seb Bassong and forward Steven Naismith could start.
Midfielder Louis Thompson and forward Nelson Oliveira might also feature.
