Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty could be about to cause a stir in East Anglia by making a controversial move from Norwich City to Ipswich Town.
Portman Road boss Mick McCarthy is keen to snap up the 29-year-old and partner him in attack with new signing Joe Garner in a bid to be promotion contenders in the Championship next season.
Lafferty left Norwich at the end of the last Championship season having endured a frustrating three year spell at Carrow Road where he rarely featured in the first team.
He is now aiming to re-ignite his club career in order to win his starting place back at international level.
