Northwestern lands grad transfer offensive lineman Trey Klock from Georgia Tech

Former Georgia Tech offensive lineman Trey Klock is joining Northwestern football as a graduate transfer, he announced on Twitter this afternoon.

Klock announced his decision to transfer and pursue his MBA elsewhere back in mid-January. He cited general unhappiness and wanting to be closer to his family in Hummelstown, PA, which makes it somewhat surprising that Klock chose Northwestern over the much closer Temple University.

A former three-star tight end recruit, Klock, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 285 pounds, made five starts for the Yellow Jackets as a redshirt sophomore in 2016.
