Yesterday we began looking forward for the 2015 Northwestern Wildcats football season, checking in on what the offense brings to the table. Today it is the other side under the microscope, as we look at what should be the strength of any Pat Fitzgerald-coached team — the defense.
After all, the guy was one of the best linebackers in the Big Ten during the middle of he 1990’s. Yet, his defenses haven’t always been great. Could this group in 2015 be great?
