Terre Haute, IN – The University of Northern Iowa softball team faced off in a double header against Indiana State on Saturday.
Indiana State (14-13, 1-4 MVC) took the first game against Northern Iowa (15-12, 3-2 MVC) in a 5-4 win after nine innings.
After Brittney Roby was walked in the top of the first, Macey Wolfe came swinging for the fences and hit a home run into left field. That hit also brought in Roby to give UNI an early 2-0 lead.
