Mankato, MN—The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team finished with a 2-2 draw against the Mankato Mavericks this evening.
Brynell Yount scored an early goal in the eighth minute of play, on an assist from Kelsey Yarrow. The Mavericks would come back and score two goals in the first 45-minutes of play.
Jordan Rolli would tie the game back at 2 in the 75-minute.
The Panthers and Mavericks participated in a shoot-out at the end of the game, with the Panthers winning 5-1.
The Panthers begin regular season action on August 20, as they travel to Chicago State for a 1 p.
