OMAHA, Nebraska-- Katie Taylor, Crystal Florman and the UNI Swimming and Diving team had an outstanding start today at the Mutual of Omaha/UNO Invite. The Panthers lead all scores with 366 after day 1 of competition.
Taylor struck at the record boards, shattering her previous record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.33 and a first place finish.
Florman broke the record in the 100 butterfly, timing in at 55.52 for a first place finish.
The first place finishes kept on rolling in. Molly Lembezeder would nab a first place finish in the 50 freestyle, timing in at 23.
