RUSTON, LA – The University of Northern Iowa softball team wrapped up day two of the Louisiana Tech Classic on Saturday, after playing Sam Houston State (4-8) and Louisiana Tech (10-4).
The Panthers (7-5) battled it out against Sam Houston State in the first game of the day.
Both teams were scoreless for the first two innings. UNI was the first to get a run on the board in the bottom of the third when Macey Wolfe singled into left field and brought home Courtney Krodinger.
