NIU men roll to much-needed win at Central Michigan

Losers of four straight and two in a row at home in overtime after they led in the fourth, the Huskies were in desperate need of a win.

The Northern Illinois men's basketball team led wire-to-wire on Tuesday in an 89-66 win.

The Huskies (15-13 overall, 7-8 Mid-American Conference) led by double-digits throughout the second half. Central Michigan (16-12, 6-9) never got closer than 13 in the final 20 minutes.

Five Huskies scored double figures. Levi Bradley scored 18, Eugene German and Marin Maric each poured in 16, Jaylen Key had 12 and Dontel Highsmith 10.
