DeKALB | NIU gymnastics added new talent to their team during the early recruiting season last week. These recruits will look to complete all four events for the Huskies.
Mia Lord, one of the teams' recruits, trained in the DeVeau's School of Gymnastics. Lord qualified for nationals in her first three seasons competing in high school and placed in top 25 nationally in multiple events. NIU head coach Sam Morreale notices Lord's skill and calls her a, "fun gymnast to watch and [she] should make an immediate impact on making the Huskies better."
The Huskies also recruited Zoie Schroeder, who ranked second nationally on bars, beam and all-around skill in 2015.
