Quick hits: UNT allows over 300 rushing yards in loss to UTEP

Quarterback Alec Morris made his second straight start in UNT's loss to UTEP in place of injured starter Mason Fine. The senior has thrown two touchdown passes in each of the Mean Green's last two games. Morris hit Thaddeous Thompson from 10 yards out and connected with Willie Ivery on a 14-yard strike.

Ivery led UNT in rushing for the second straight week. The junior posted 98 yards against UTEP one week after rushing for 111 yards in a victory over Southern Miss.

The 301 rushing yards Aaron Jones posted against UNT was the second-highest total for a single game in UTEP history.
