As we close in on another exciting college football season, we have some bold predictions for each of our local teams.
Here's what you can expect this season from North Texas:
1. North Texas will be bowl-eligible again: UNT has been bowl-eligible with six wins just once since 2004. The Mean Green won eight regular season games in 2013 and then beat UNLV in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. UNT made a return trip to the Heart of Dallas Bowl last fall as a five-win team due to its performance on the NCAA's Academic Progress Rate report.
