The race is on to land class of 2017 defensive back Devon Hunter out of Virginia.
At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds Hunter is listed as the fourth-best safety prospect in teh 2017 class and is a composite four-star recruit according to 247 Sports. After years of recruiting, Hunter has five schools that really stand out to him.
The defensive back says that the University of North Carolina is one of those five schools, a good sign for Tar Heels fans.
Hunter received an offer from UNC in eighth grade as they were among one of the first schools to offer him a scholarship.
