♦ Top-seeded North Carolina (15-2) will try to win its second consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Tournament and its third overall when it meets second-seeded Syracuse (15-5) on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond, Va.
♦ Carolina and Syracuse will meet in the ACC final for the third consecutive year. The Orange won in double overtime in 2015, and the Tar Heels beat Syracuse in overtime in the 2016 final.
