How has UNC performed following bye weeks under Larry Fedora?

After the win over Virginia, UNC enters the bye week in a pretty decent position. The Tar Heels are 6-2 and have four games ahead of them, in all of which they will likely be favorites.

First up following the bye week is Georgia Tech. Considering the style the Yellow Jackets play, having an extra week to prepare couldn’t hurt. However, results in games following bye weeks have been a mixed bag in the Larry Fedora era.

In Fedora’s first season in Chapel Hill in 2012, the bye week came very late in the season. After the Gio Bernard punt return win over NC State, the Tar Heels got the week of November 3rd off.
