Port St. Lucie, Florida – Kelly Whaley and Bryana Nguyen matched each other with 2-over par 74s in the final round of the Central District Invitational on Tuesday. They each finished the tournament at 5-over par and tied for seventh overall. Alice Chen of Furman won the overall title, finishing at 1-under for the tournament.
Carolina finished the tournament where they started the round, in fourth place. The final round was their best as a team as they shot a 9-over par 297 overall. Brynn Walker and Leslie Cloots joined Whaley and Nguyen in also contributing to the team score with a 75 and 74 respectively.
