Berry Out For Davidson Game

CHAPEL HILL – University of North Carolina junior point guard Joel Berry II will not play against Davidson on Wednesday (Dec. 7) due to a sprained left ankle, an injury he suffered early in the second half of Sunday’s 95-50 win over Radford.

Berry is questionable to play in Sunday’s game (Dec. 11) against Tennessee. The Apopka, Fla., native is Carolina’s second-leading scorer at 14.8 points per game and leads the Tar Heels in assists, three-point field goals and free throw percentage. He was the MVP of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.

Junior Theo Pinson had x-rays on Monday to check the progress of a broken bone in his right foot.
