Go ahead and put November 13th, 2015 on your calendar, that's when UNC will tip-off the 2015-16 season.
North Carolina will tip off the 2015-16 basketball season by headlining the 2015 Veterans Classic, an annual showcase at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., that brings together top teams from across the country in celebration of Veterans Day. The Tar Heels will face Temple at 7 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2015, followed by Florida versus Navy at 9:30 p.m. Both games will be televised nationally by the CBS Sports Network.
In addition to the games, the three participating schools will have the rare opportunity to get a glimpse of what life is like as a midshipman at the Naval Academy.
