North Carolina Basketball Recruiting: An Inside Look At The Tar Heels' Top Recruit To Watch

With Jaylen Brown off to Cal and Brandon Ingram signed up with the Duke, the North Carolina Tar Heels are now sorting through their remaining top targets in the Class of 2015 and adjusting accordingly.

#1 on their wishlist is likely to be four-star small forward and Columbia, SC native Tevin Mack.

Here's the Daily Tar Heel with the report:

After being released from his Letter of Intent to Virginia Commonwealth following Shaka Smart’s decision to take the head coaching job at Texas, the 247 Sports four-star prospect has been contacted by the Tar Heels, according to the Twitter account for his AAU team.

The 6-foot-6, 185-pound small forward has yet to receive a scholarship from UNC.

Keep an eye on Texas. With Shaka Smart starting to make his imprint on the program, it's possible that he'll put on the full-court press to get Mack to join him in moving on to Austin. South Carolina, Georgia, and Connecticut are a few other programs to watch as his recruitment process progresses.
