NC State pursuing Bryant transfer Nisre Zouzoua

Related Topics: Points per game

Bryant guard Nisre Zouzoua averaged more than 20 points per game this season as a sophomore for Bryant University, and he’s decided to transfer. Zouzoua is getting a lot of high-major attention, per Rivals’ Eric Bossi: NC State, Missouri, Maryland, and Illinois are among the schools he’s heard from.

Zouzoua is not a graduate transfer, which means he will sit out next season. After that, he’ll have two years to play. The kid is a solid jump shooter (career 36.2% from three) and outstanding at the free throw line. He is not a point guard.

But it’s not point guards that Kevin Keatts needs in the early going—that is assuming Markell Johnson comes back—it’s shooting.
