Crosby recorded his 900th point against the Florida Panthers, becoming the 10th-fastest NHL player to reach the milestone, per Eric Engels of Sportsnet.ca.

Crosby's 900th point came with five minutes, four seconds remaining in the third period. He fired a cross-ice pass to Kris Letang, who scored to put the Penguins on the board. The fun didn't stop there. Less than four minutes later, Crosby tied the game at 2-2 with his 22nd goal of the year.

Crosby later notched his second assist of the night on Letang's game-winning goal in overtime to give Pittsburgh a 3-2 win over the first-place Panthers.
