TORONTO -- There are certain perks, to be sure, when Bobby Orr is part of your entourage.
But these days in particular, having the greatest defenseman who ever lived offer you advice about coming back from a serious injury, well, that's a powerful asset to have in your camp.
"We had dinner together last night and I told him that I often came back too early from injuries," Orr, whose agency represents No. 97, said Monday at Air Canada Centre during the Edmonton Oilers' morning-day skate.
The priceless advice from No. 4 was well-received, of course, because you know McDavid is eager to return from his broken collarbone as soon as possible, but he will understand why the Oilers want to be extra careful with him.
