Coyotes' Shane Doan Closing in on 400 Career Goals

Arizona Coyotes winger Shane Doan will enter Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings just two goals shy of 400 for his career, per NHL.com Milestones.

Doan has played in 1,487 career games to reach his current total, third among active skaters. The 2016-17 season hasn't been particularly kind to the 40-year-old.

The veteran owns just six points—two goals and four assists—through 21 games this season, with Doan's age and declining skill set likely both factoring into the output. His average ice time has also dropped to a career-low 15:44 per game dating back to when ESPN.
