Report: Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson missing Wednesday practice to get second opinion on knee injury

Following his best game in more than a month, C.J. Anderson will miss Wednesday's practice as he seeks a second opinion on his right knee injury sustained during Denver's Monday night victory versus Houston.

Anderson, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on just 16 carries (6.1 yards per carry), snapping a five-game streak of averaging less than 4.0 YPC, could have a minor injury but also could be out awhile, according to 9NEWS' Mike Klis.

Anderson helped close out the Broncos' victory over San Diego, so it's unclear when the injury occured. But it threatens to cast a cloud over Denver's best rushing performance of the season (190 yards on 35 carries) in which Anderson was actually out-snapped by rookie Devontae Booker, who totaled 87 yards and his first NFL touchdown on 18 touches.
