Oakland Raiders move to Las Vegas approved by owners with 31–1 vote

The Oakland Raiders move to Las Vegas was approved by NFL owners by a 31–1 vote on Monday afternoon. Miami was the lone team that was opposed.

The Raiders needed 24 of 32 owner's votes to relocate to Las Vegas in 2020.

“My father always said,, 'the greatness of the Raiders is in its future,' and the opportunity to build a world-class stadium in the entertainment capital of the world is a significant step toward achieving that greatness," Mark Davis said in a statement. "I would like to thank Commissioner Goodell, the National Football League and my 31 partners.
