Cleveland Browns ship P Andy Lee to Panthers for fourth-rounder days after he loafed on punt return TD

The Browns traded P Andy Lee to the Panthers Monday in exchange for a 2017 fourth-round pick, reported NFL Media's Ian Rapoport on Twitter.

Even for one of the NFL's best punters, which Lee certainly is, this news might normally fall in the ho-hum category. After all, the Browns new regime has shipped out more than a few holdovers this offseason.

But those watching the Browns-Buccaneers preseason game Thursday night know there's more to this story (yes, we'll admit we were among those watching). Lee made a business decision in the first half, loafing — and that's being generous — on Adam Humphries' 73-yard punt return touchdown.
