Belichick mum on Brady ruling

The last time Patriots coach Bill Belichick faced the media on a day of significance in the Tom Brady case, Belichick was able to rattle off “it’s already been addressed” several times, because he spoke after Patriots owner Robert Kraft issued a blistering statement expressing frustration with the league’s decision to uphold the four-game suspension. On the day that a federal judge scrapped the suspension, Belichick had no opening act.

But that still didn’t mean he’d say anything.

Asked after the preseason finale against the Giants to address his level of relief to the absence of uncertainty regarding the team’s quarterback for the season opener, Belichick said, “I’ll just talk about the game – any questions about the game?
