Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers not surprisingly had a favorable opinion of the ruling in the Tom Brady/Deflategate case in which the New England Patriots quarterback’s four-game suspension was nullified by U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman.
Rodgers, speaking from the sideline during the Packers’ final preseason tuneup against the New Orleans Saints, told the Packers TV network that the decision bodes well for him and and his professional football-playing brethren, even though he never specifically identified his pal Brady by name.
“I think it’s a good day for the players,” Rodgers said, via ESPN.
