Allen's Raiders performed decently in close losses to the Jets in Week 1 and the Patriots in Week 3, but a Week 2 blowout at home against the Houston Texans made it clear that this team still has a long way to go. Several names have been mentioned as possible replacements for Allen (our complete list is HERE), but at this point the most likely scenario would see assistant HC Tony Sparano take over in an interim capacity.
Joe Philbin was the early favorite during the offseason, but a win against New England in Miami's opener cooled his seat considerably. The Dolphins have been unimpressive in two straight losses since, though, and this Sunday's game between the Dolphins and the Raiders could have major implications for both Philbin and Allen.
