Newcastle midfielder Haris Vuckic has joined FC Twente for training in a bid to earn a contract with the Dutch club.
The Slovenian is out of contract in the summer and expected to move on having failed to establish himself with the Magpies.
There were high hopes for Vuckic when he arrived at St James' Park from Domzale in 2009 but he has never managed to hold down a regular place in the first team.
As such, he has spent time on loan at five different clubs, including Glasgow Rangers, over the past six seasons and now looks set to leave for good.
