The @yankees have added OF Billy McKinney to their list of spring training non-roster invitees.
The Yankees Public Relations Department announced that outfielder Billy McKinney has been added to the list of spring training non-roster invitees. According to Brendan Kuty of NJ Advanced Media, the 22-year-old is at George M. Steinbrenner Field and will take part in today’s first full-squad workout.
McKinney was acquired by the Bronx Bombers in the trade that sent closer Aroldis Chapman to the Chicago Cubs. The former 2013 first round pick currently ranks as the Yankees #16 best prospect, according to MLB Pipeline.
