The Yankees are very bad these days. It’s not pretty to watch and it’s even less fun to write about. Nevertheless, we trudge on. There is only one more week left in this painful season, anyway.
There was a brief moment when it seemed like the Yankees could win this game, as they rallied after Dellin Betances struggled in the eighth to take a lead entering the bottom of the ninth. It admittedly never felt very likely that they would pull through though, and sure enough, the game ended in a walk-off with the Blue Jays celebrating on the field.
