Ben Gamel led the way for the RailRiders' offense in a shutout victory over the Tides with a three-hit day including a two-run homer. It was Gamel's second home run of the season. Second baseman Donovan Solano had a three-hit day of his own with a triple and a run batted in.
Starting pitcher Chad Green was the real star of the game for Scranton. He pitched seven shutout innings, allowing just four hits two walks while striking out six batters.
