Yankees News: New York Won't Pay Alex Rodriguez's Bonus For Milestone Home Run

Alex Rodriguez has exceeded all of the expectations the New York Yankees had set for him this season, but that doesn't mean they're willing to play nice.

Rodriguez tied Willie Mays with the 660th homer of his career on Friday night, a milestone that triggers a $6 million bonus in his contract.

However, the Yankees came out publicly for the first time Saturday, saying they refuse to pay it.

New York is trying to get out of paying A-Rod all of the other bonuses he has in his contract as well, saying his admitted steroid use nullifies those bonuses.

Rodriguez is challenging those claims, as there is no clause of steroid use in his contract, and plans to get his money one way or the other.
