Rangers face Jets without key players in lineup, but Grabner returns

WINNIPEG, Manitoba — There were some lineup changes for the Rangers Thursday night as they made their lone visit to MTS Centre this season to face the Jets. But coach Alain Vigneault wasn’t overly concerned about this lineup after Tuesday’s 4-2 loss to the Islanders — his club is 8-0-1 after a loss this season.

“It’s going to be a good lineup. Obviously we’re missing a couple key elements, but every team in the NHL goes through injuries,” Alain Vigneault said before the game. “Like I’ve mentioned many times, it’s an opportunity for some other players to step in and have more ice time and a bigger role.
