Before we get to our new guest blogger, some news the last couple of days.
The Rangers have signed defense prospect Sergey Zborovskiy to an entry-level deal. The kid’s just 19, and he looked pretty good at the prospects camp last month — cleared some bodies around the crease, among other things. I imagine there’s not a big chance he plays on the NHL roster this coming season. He was also rooming with Pavel Buchnevich, who doesn’t speak English, and I guess they will during pre-camp and training camp. And eventually I will have to learn how to spell Zborovskiy without looking it up.
