It appears that general managerJeff Gorton isn’t wasting much time.
Today the New York Rangers have signed 2017 first round pick Filip Chytil to an entry-level contract. Yesterday the Rangers inked seventh overall pick Lias Andersson to his ELC. Chytil was the 21st pick of the first round.

Chytil will be 18-years-old in September, so it’s highly unlikely that he’ll be playing in the NHL next season.
