Rick Nash, Rangers even series with 5-1 win over Lightning

RANGERS 5, LIGHTNING 1

TAMPA — The King is back.

The Rangers desperately needed Henrik Lundqvist to bounce back after he allowed six goals in each of the previous two games, and he did so big time on Friday night at Amalie Arena, making 38 saves in a 5-1 Rangers win over the Lightning in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference final. The series is tied 2-2 with Game 5 at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

Alain Vigneault has said several times during the playoffs the team needs its best players to play as such, and they got that in Game 4 starting with Lundqvist, who moved past the soft overtime goal he allowed in Game 3 with a sterling performance.
