Buffalo Sabres Lock Up Ryan O’Reilly – NHL.com
Ryan O’Reilly was traded to the Buffalo Sabres just over a week ago. Not much later, he signed a seven-year extension worth $7.5 million per year.
The 24-year-old spent the previous six years with the Colorado Avalanche, logging 17 goals and 38 assists in the 2014-15 season. O’Reilly also tallied just 12 penalty minutes. He only had a single penalty the previous season, earning him the Lady Byng Trophy.
