LOS ANGELES — Noah Syndergaard was a Nordic god pitching at Citi Field this season, but those powers were diminished on the road.
Bad luck was the issue, Syndergaard claims.
“It wasn’t that I felt uncomfortable out there,” said Syndergaard, who is scheduled to oppose Zack Greinke in Game 2 of the NLDS on Saturday at Dodger Stadium. “I felt like my stuff was there. It’s just a couple of series of bad events happened and I got a little unlucky, and it’s pretty easy to pitch at home when you have the Mets fans.”
Syndergaard was 7-2 with a 2.
